  @comcast You need to not make it so hard for people who have existing Internet service with #Comcast to now apply for Internet Essentials if they’re having financial difficulty now classified as low income. You penalize delay people with a 3 month wait to reapply for Internet Essentials.

  Update: It seems what @Xfinity means is that although your service is not under contract, if you don't stay with @Xfinity mobile for 24 months then you must pay for the phone. So "free/not free". Why the jiggery-pokery/snake-oil? We're all adults here.
